New member “know how”

Dear new member,

About the club

Welcome to the Fish Hoek Squash Club (FHSC) club. We hope you will have an enjoyable and happy time as a member and that you make many new friends and enjoy training (and competing) with us.
We are a club affiliated to the S.A. Squash Association via WP Squash. And our club consists of 6 courts and gender based cloak rooms.

Our club is home to former S.A. no. 1 and world no. 23 Rodney Durbach.
Rodney also runs the local pro shop at the club, Shoe String, and is available for coaching. You may purchase all your squash equipment here. The shop operates Monday – Friday 17:30 – 19:30
Other coaches at the club include Terry Cooper and Martin Cayzer. The coaches are here to help you reach your full potential.

Stephen Coppinger; currently touring the Pro circuit and current world no. 20, as well as current SA national champion, also calls FHSC home 😉

A little serious & a lot of social

New members are encouraged to play in our summer and winter social leagues to meet and get to know the other members (we don’t bite!)
Summer league runs from November to mid-February. Winter league runs from late May to mid-June.
For the more serious competitors there is WP league, from early mid-March through to about the first week in September. Speak to your club captain for more information regarding WP league.
